The Laocoon Head

1st Century BC

Vatican Museums, Rome, Italy

Representing the Trojan priest Laocoon and his two sons being crushed to death by serpents as a penalty for warning the Trojans against the wooden horse of the Greeks.

35cm x 32cm x 32cm

Wall hanging cast in Jesmonite.

Jesmonite is a far superior material to the standard plaster cast hence the slightly higher price.

It is lightweight and incredibly strong making this a perfect learning cast as it will withstand heavy handling and measuring from over and over again.

Casts are pigmented pure white and can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth without damaging the cast.
